Most people might find it hard to believe but finding a properly modified VIP sedan in Japan is not that easy, especially up in the Kanto region of the country. VIP is a style that began down south, in and around Osaka, and has over the last decade or so spread around. Different takes on this style have emerged but for my slammed feature from Japan I wanted to bring you the most authentic car I could find, which is where my friend Kenji Yamada came in.Yamada-san runs Sessions, a car shop in Yokohama specializing in creating some of the most well put together VIP cars on the street and his style has always stood out for its attention to detail, simplicity and above all, quality.The slammed Celsior you see here is a car that best represents what Sessions is about, with a sleek yet modern VIP style. The VIP scene being such a huge inspiration from the motherland, Japan, it has really grown over the past year, and there is no doubt that it’s getting bigger day by day. With the many different VIP platform choices to mess with out there, the top pick seems to be the Lexus GS second generation. So, rather than bore you on stuff you already know, lets get into the finer details of Kam’s Lexus.

Would you believe me if I told you this project started off with a Honda Accord Platform? Trust me, I didn’t. Found this browsing through the Wrong Fitment Crew Forums and just like the Honda Odyssey with the BMW front end that Dave posted awhile back, this is another fine example of someones crazy imagination in real life!

There aren’t too many VIP cars in our area that can top Drews Q45. This thing is completely flawless. Look for this thing to be rolling around with CiB this summer at all the meets we will be at. I will let a mod list and these awesome photos taken by my good friend Imraan Shameem do all the talking. Enjoy guys. Id beat.

So recently I dug up some old VIP pictures from possibly a year ago, and realized how even still, while the envelope is still being pushed, this setup is still CRAZY. Now I can’t really remember the exact setup, but what I do remember is that this thing was rocking -25 offset all the way around. With a flush stance laid out on the ground, this GS300 still sets the standard. Enjoy the beat.
